Spirited comeback falls short 😢
Form was turned upside-down in our choice for Bet of the Day yesterday as Kerry, rock bottom of Ireland Division 1, took a surprise lead against 3rd-placed Ramblers midway through the first half. There was to be double the surprise as Kerry doubled their lead on the hour.
Ramblers fought back and reduced the deficit seven minutes later. They then found the equalizer in the 82nd minute. Try as they did, Ramblers could not find the winning goal in the few minutes that remained. The final score, then, was 2 – 2, and our bet was lost.
