No record-equalling win yesterday – maybe today?
We had one of our not-so-good days yesterday. First, our pick for Bet of the Day let us down as Accrington of English League Two went down 0 – 1 at home to Colchester.
So we failed to gain our record-equalling twenty-second win of the month. Nevertheless, our win rate for the month is still a respectable 75%.
We made twenty-five selections for The Premium Predictions Club yesterday. It was a day where we were see-sawing between winning and losing. In the end, the wins just edged it with thirteen. However, this 52% win rate for the day brought down our win rate for the month by a couple of points to 71%.

Regular visitors will know that I am conducting The No Lose Strategy experiment with Bet of the Day as of 1st October onwards. For this experiment, the default betting stake is 1 point. When there is a loss, the next stake is raised to compensate the bankroll for the previous loss. As we lost yesterday, today’s stake at today’s odds is 3.75 points. If the Bet of the Day is successful, it will bring the bankroll up to where it would have been had we won yesterday.
Nearly four weeks into The No Lose Strategy experiment, and it appears to be working so far as The Bet of the Day project remains in profit. It will take several more weeks before we can declare The No Lose Strategy a success, but we’re hoping it keeps Bet of the Day in an upwardly mobile profit permanently.
