Villa turnover turns over our turnover 👍
For a while yesterday evening, it looked as though we were on our way to a second successive Bet of the Day fail as AZ Alkmaar shut out their Europa Conference League hosts, Aston Villa, to go in goalless at half-time and then took a shock lead early in the second half. But Villa fought back, equalized six minutes later, and then scored what turned out to be the winning goal at 81 minutes. 2 – 1 to Villa, then, and a win for us. That’s six wins from eight now this month.
Although The Premium Predictions Club yesterday didn’t have quite such a good day as the previous day, it was still a rather productive day, nonetheless. We had thirteen wins from seventeen selections, which included one win at 4.00 odds. The day win rate for yesterday was 76%, which pushed the November win rate up another notch to 68%.

Regular visitors will know that I am conducting The No Lose Strategy experiment with Bet of the Day as of 1st October onwards. For this experiment, the default betting stake is 1 point. When there is a loss, the next stake is raised to compensate the bankroll for the previous loss. We staked 4.23 points yesterday so that a win would compensate the bankroll for the previous day’s loss. Yesterday’s bet won, so it’s back to a 1 point stake for today.
At the end of the first month of combining The No Lose Strategy experiment with Bet of the Day, we have turned a loss of nearly 12 points into a profit of over 6 points. That’s a gain of over 18 points. However, we need to consistently repeat this month after month before we can call the experiment a success.
