Saved by a 97th-minute penalty!
It was close, but we made it! We thought we would easily win yesterday’s Over 1.5 Total Goals Bet of the Day after La Liga 2 side FC Cartagena SAD took the lead after just two minutes against Real Oviedo. But we waited and waited. Then we thought we had won when Oviedo netted in the 59th minute, only to be disappointed when a VAR decision ruled the effort out for offside. Then we waited and waited again. We had just about given up when Oviedo were awarded a penalty at 90+7 minutes.
Oviedo duly converted the penalty to tie the game at 1 – 1 and bring Steve’s Soccer Shots a fifth win in a row which is also the tenth win from twelve Bets of the Day this month. That translates to an amazing 83% win rate for November.
Due to the truncated fixture list yesterday, we only made two selections for The Premium Predictions Club. We are happy that we chose quality over quantity as both of these selections won. Two others we were considering adding but eventually rejected, both lost. The November win rate for The Premium Predictions Club remains at 69%.
