Victory from the jaws of defeat
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we had Bet of the Day losses from winning positions. Yesterday was the total opposite. From being 1 – 0 down at the interval, our pick for an away win, Uzbekistan, turned it around in the second half to defeat hosts Turkmenistan 1 – 3 in their Asian World Championship qualifier.
That makes eleven wins from fifteen this November for a win rate of 73%.
Thursday’s five selections for The Premium Predictions Club produced four wins. This 80% win rate for the day was good enough to uphold the 69% win rate for the month.

Regular visitors will know that I am conducting The No Lose Strategy experiment with Bet of the Day as of 1st October onwards. For this experiment, the default betting stake is 1 point. When there is a loss, the next stake is raised to compensate the bankroll. After two losses, we staked 14.23 points yesterday in an attempt to bring the bankroll up to where it would have been had we won them. We did win yesterday, the bankroll is where it should be, so today’s stake reverts to 1 point.
At the end of the first month of combining The No Lose Strategy experiment with Bet of the Day, we have turned a loss of nearly 12 points into a profit of over 6 points. That’s a gain of over 18 points. However, we need to consistently repeat this month after month before we can call the experiment a success.
