Swift attack nearly pays the penalty
Swift Hesperange won this 2nd leg tie as predicted to get August off to a good start for us and to give us our sixth Bet of the Day win in six days.
Swift took the lead very early only for The Saints to level from the penalty spot. Two more goals midway through the second half put Swift 3 – 1 up, but The Saints pegged one of those back almost immediately, again from the penalty spot. This led to a nervous 25 minutes before the final whistle blew with the score remaining at 3 – 2 in our favour.
